Jewellery Workshop

This last week has been so hot, hot, hot!!! We took a few days away for Easter and relaxed near the sea so apologise for the lack of blog updates.

Back now, refreshed and with lots of new ideas, we have the last jewellery workshop to tell you about.

Eleven lovely ladies from the Haverhill Towns Womens Guild Craft Group came in for a jewellery making workshop and what talented ladies they were too! With the help of Sue we showed them how to attach headpins, use eyepins and jump rings. Bracelets, earings and bookmarks took shape in a wonderful, fun evening.

Here are a few snaps of the ladies hard at work along with some of the finished pieces.











I am sure you will agree the finished jewellery pieces are stunning!

Great Fusioneers!

Another great beginners paint fusion class last night. Again, everybody left after a chilled out evening of painting with some really stunning artwork, Katie (a member of the Sheena Douglas Design Team) is such a good teacher.

As the pictures show, heads were down and concentration in plentiful supply, alot was learnt and we are sure the techniques will be put into practice at home.

An intermediate class is booked for May 12th and is filling up fast. The project will be a daisy wall hanging. Katie & Jackie are currently putting together the advanced class and we will let you know the date for this soon. We can tell you that Poppies will feature in the advanced one.

Secret Box of Treasures

We have just taken delivery of the new Secret Box of Treasures kits from Hunkydory and they are gorgeous. We adore the wedding kit "The Special Day, its our favourite of the three and here is a picture to show you. Why not make one for the happy couple and fill it with memories that will cherish.



We are still adding new decoupage to the website and to the stands in store.

The beginners paint fusion class next Thursday evening is filling fast so if you are thinking about it please book now.

Well, the sun is shining and putting out all this new stock is thirsty work so a nice cool glass of squash is called for. Until next time........

Beads And More

Today has been a really strange day in many ways but an interesting one as well!

We have taken delivery of some gorgeous beads and findings for our jewellery section. Please excuse the image it was taken quickly just to give you a sneaky peak before we leave for the weekend.



Crystals, glass pearls, tiara bands and loads more should be hitting our shelves by the middle of next week.

Not forgetting the card makers and scrapbookers, we have new cuttlebug folders in plus some re-stocks which we will try and load onto our website as soon as possible.
