Katie popped in today to show us her latest creations and here they are.





We just had to share them and are sure you will agree, they are stunning. All products used are available from our website or in store.

More New Magazines

We will now be stocking Craft Stamper and Beads & Beyond along with Scrap 365. All the tips and techniques in these magazines are great for both beginner and advanced crafter's. The April issues are due in shortly but we have all the March issues in stock now.





Over the coming weeks we will be posting about new products and projects so keep popping back for a look.

Workshop / Classes

The places on the 3 workshops we are holding in May with Lynne Gilbert (who some of you may remember as the lady demonstrating at our Open Day) are filling fast. The dates and times are

Saturday 19th May 10am - 12pm Alcohol Inks

Saturday 19th May 1pm - 3pm distress inks and stamps

why not book on both, bring a packed lunch and make a day of it!

Tuesday 29th May 1pm - 3pm an introduction to ultra thick embossing powder.

Each workshop is £11 per person (all materials included) payable at time of booking - spaces are limited so call 01440 706041 or drop into the shop to book your place. We have seen the finished projects and they are all stunning. You will learn so much on each workshop.

We will also be adding other classes to our list over the next week so keep popping back for a look.

Wednesday!

Just a quick post today as we are still recovering from the weekend and playing catch up with the work.

Our Wednesday ladies made Christmas shaker cards today which seems a bit odd in February but.....if we make the odd one here and there throughout the year we should have a few ready when the time comes!

Over the next few days there is so much to do making room for all the new goodies that will be arriving and they all need to be loaded on the website so we will be busy, busy, busy :)

Playing!

We have been playing this afternoon with more art journaling. We are currently awaiting the arrival of Dylusions ink sprays so used Cosmic Shimmer sprays instead along with Distress Ink Pads, WOW embossing powder and diamond sparkle glitter.



We love the effect that was achieved and will be trying different techniques and materials in the journal over the coming weeks & months.

Lots of Crafting Goodies Ordered!

We had such a busy day yesterday ordering new products that will arrive over the next few weeks. We will let you know what they are as they arrive - don't want to spoil the surprise but can promise you won't be disappointed!

OK, just one, we can tell you the new distress markers are on order along with the Dylusion inks (that was two!!!!!), we used them in the workshop on Saturday and loved the effect you can achieve and so easily too.



We are off to put the kettle on and curl up in the chair with catalogues that we picked up from new suppliers / manufaccturers. Exciting times ahead!!!! Until next time.....

WOW WOW WOW!!!!!!!

We have had such a great afternoon at the NEC on workshops with Tim Holtz and Dyan Reaveley. First of all we made this really cute wall hanging using mini canvas, jump rings, distress inks and lots more.


We used all these exciting and gorgeous crafting goodies

Then we got really inky and messy while we did art journaling, this is now our new favourite craft and can't wait to get back to get down and dirty doing lots more. All our old books better run and hide because they will be altered with inks, tissue tape and more!!




The colours are wonderful and we used dylusion inks, so much fun.

We shared a table with Lindsey Mason who we know you all love and obviously had pictures taken with Tim, Dyan and your QVC favourite Marion Emberson.


We are now back in the hotel room looking at the floor plan for tomorrows show. All the new goodies are so appealing!!!!! We love the new distress pens, they are so versatile and a must have.

Well, time to try winding down and get some sleep. Breakfast is booked for 7am so have an early start. More news and sneaky peaks tomorrow but until then.........

Our lovely Wednesday ladies arrived today for their class and we all welcomed Chris back from her travels. Linda surprised everybody with two gorgeous cakes which were enjoyed with a cuppa half way through. Distress ink pads were used with various techniques and a relaxing afternoon was had with lots of laughs and chatter.



Here is a wonderful card that Angela L had made and bought in to show us all, we are sure you will agree it is stunning. The paper is from Craftwork Cards range.

We love seeing all the gorgeous cards etc that you all make and encourage customers to email pictures or bring them into us so we can add them on here for all to see.

Well, we are off to start packing ready for the weekend as we are booked on a Tim Holtz workshop on Saturday afternoon and will be spending all day Sunday sourcing / buying new products to tantalize your crafting tastebuds. We will now be stocking the brilliant Scrap 365 magazine - issue 4 is due out on 17th February and will be arriving with us over the next day or so.

Moorish Collection Craftwork Cards
